My scrapbook wouldn’t be complete without some music! Here are some tunes I recorded in high school on my trusty old Fostex X-30 4-track recorder.
One Last Goodbye - a song I wrote in the spring of 1988 to say goodbye to someone I never had the chance to.
A Dream Ago - Shawn Jensen & I had this bright idea to write and record a concept album. So I wrote this tune and that’s about as far as we got with it.
Almost From The Start - Shawn Jensen & I wrote and recorded this song on 12/26/87. If memory serves me I’m playing the keyboard (Roland Alpha Juno) and one of the electric guitars (2nd solo), Shawn is playing bass and the other electric guitar (1st solo). This sounds like a song that was written & recorded in a single day - you’ve been warned!
There may be a couple of videos laying around that I will post if/when I find them. I seem to remember one with Altan Stalker, Brad Perkins & Kevin Keating. We were playing around with stop motion techniques or some such lunacy. We thought it was pretty cool at the time, now I bet it’s just plain embarrassing.
